Midwest's Transfold Choral Risers are  constructed from a heavy-guage steel frame and plywood decks. They feature built in wheels for easy maneuverability and  are available  in 3 sizes: a 4' width, a  6'  width and a 6' width reverse unit ( *note:  a reverse riser fits between two standard Transfold  riser sections to configure a straight riser set).  All risers sections can be connected together to form a custom size using built in drop-in couplings. These risers also feature a built in gas-spring cylinder so they can easily be set-up by one person ( simply push the built in gas-spring cylinder to  raise risers into set-up position and release the cylinder to fold the risers down). An automatic safety lock is also built in to  keep your risers secure in position.
